The 2013 initial training workshop for ALTs was held.
The workshop covered a variety of topics including group work exercises using practical English in the classroom and actual Japanese lessons used at schools. The ALTs were fully engaged in the workshop the entire day.
When the workshop ended, everyone relocated to a restaurant, where a welcome party organized by OWLS for the ALTs was held. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and an excellent end to the day.
We are sure that these English instructors will endeavor to do their best teaching at pre-schools, daycares, and elementary, junior high, and high schools, as they do every year.
