Having no preconceptions regarding language, children are able to reproduce the pronunciation, rhyme and intonation of what they hear. This is the period when children are full of curiosity; it is characterized by a desire to try new things. At OWLS, we have many activities that will totally engross children who have a strong desire to speak English. Furthermore, OWLS is always adopting activities that allow children to experience overseas cultures and lifestyles, thus allowing children to develop an interest in, and connection with the world.

Children rapidly increase their communication ability when they hear the speed of the foreign instructor’s natural English and communicate their own feelings. OWLS emphasizes not only listening and speaking; but also developing an introduction to a strong foundation for reading and writing.

OWLS can provide custom curricula applicable to any purpose or objective. Class examples include: families planning to vacation or reside abroad, students getting ready to study abroad, exam preparation (such as children’s English proficiency, practical English proficiency, and the TOEIC Bridge). Additionally children who have lived overseas for extended periods can take classes to maintain their English proficiency.
