高円宮杯第68回全日本中学英語弁論大会県大会が10月2日（日）、福岡市早良区の西南大学行われました。持ち時間5分で将来の夢や家族などについてかたるイングリッシュ・スピーチコンテストで、1６校23名もの出場者がいた中、アウルズでスピーチ指導を受けてこられた生徒さんが、遂に、優勝を果たしました！

OWLS' Proud Student Win the Victory in Fukuoka
The Fukuoka prefectural preliminary for the 68th Takamadonomiya All Japan Junior High School English Speech Contest was held on October 2nd(Sun) at Seinan University in Fukuoka City. It is considered as Japan’s largest English-language competition and the students give speech about their future dreams and families etc for 5 minutes. There were 23 contestants from 16 schools this year and Ms. Shinobu Emoto, the proud student at OWLS has won the first place! She is the 3rd grade student at Meiji Gakuen Junior High School in the City of Kitakyushu and she has been receiving speech training at OWLS in recent years.
Ms. Emoto won the 6th place at last year's tournament, this time her speech was about her experience during volunteer work at "Children's Restaurant" operated by a hospital in Kumamoto city. She talked about a meeting with a girl who seemed to be alone by herself. Her remarkable speech title is "Love is Action".
"When I approached her in a friendly manner, the girl lightened up immediately with a smile and we got along very well. I wanted to express the importance of having a little courage to reach out to people.", said when interviewed.
