熊本地震によって、深刻な被害を受けた日本三大名城の一つ 熊本城。
復元には数十年かかるとの見方が強いそうです。
先日の被災地支援に続き、微力ながら私たちにできることとして「熊本城災害復興支援金」「熊本地震災害緊急支援募金」という形で協力させて頂きました。
肥後銀行北九州支店様にて手続きをさせて頂いたところ、反対にこんなにも可愛いくまもんグッズを頂いてしまいました。またしても、こちらが元気を頂いたような気がします。

Kumamoto Castle, one of Japan’s three greatest castles, had been severely damaged by the Kumamoto earthquakes.
It has been estimated that it will take a few decades to complete the restoration.
In continuation of our Kumamoto relief effort, we made some donations to the “Kumamoto Castle Disaster Recovery Fund” and “Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund” in hopes that our small acts can contribute to the restoration of this great castle as well as the recovery of the our fellow teachers in the area.
After making our contribution through the Kitakyushu Branch of Higo Bank, we received a token of gratitude, which filled us with joy, a package of Kumamon merchandise. Even in difficult times, we will triumph if we stick together.
